Chamarajanagar: Passengers on a bus were left amazed when a wild elephant approached a government bus while standing on the national highway that runs through a forest.
The government bus from Tamil Nadu had 30 passengers on board and was heading toward Sathyamangalam, passing through Hassanur in Tamil Nadu and bordering the Chamarajanagar district. Along the way, a wild elephant positioned itself at the highway’s edge and extended its trunk toward the bus window.
The sudden presence of the wild elephant near the bus startled both passengers and the bus driver. However, after a while, the elephant retreated back into the forest, allowing the bus to safely resume its journey to Sathyamangalam. This incident brought a collective sense of relief to the passengers.
